CFL Division Finals Today: Bombers at Alouettes, Lions at Elks for Grey Cup Berths

Grey Cup Berths Are Decided Today in Montreal and Edmonton

Four teams, two stadiums, one Saturday.

The CFL Division Finals run today, November 7, and by tonight the matchup for the 113th Grey Cup — Sunday, November 15 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary — will be set.

Eastern Final: Winnipeg at Montreal, 3 p.m. ET

Winnipeg at Montreal, 3 p.m. ET (Percival Molson Stadium, TSN/CTV/RDS).

The Alouettes (14–4) come off a bye as East champions, 9–0 at home and into their fifth straight Division Final behind quarterback Davis Alexander.

Their visitors are the story of the playoffs: crossover Winnipeg, which won the Eastern Semi-Final 25–22 at Toronto on Nic Demski's late touchdown catch.

No crossover team has ever reached a Grey Cup.

The open question is under centre — Zach Collaros, hurt October 23 against B.C., is a game-time decision with a ribs injury; if he cannot go, Dru Brown, who threw the winning touchdown in Toronto, starts again.

The season series split 1–1, with the home team winning both meetings.

Western Final: B.C. at Edmonton, 6:30 p.m. ET

B.C. at Edmonton, 6:30 p.m. ET (Commonwealth Stadium, TSN/RDS).

Edmonton (13–5) allowed the fewest points in the league, went 8–1 at home, and hosts a Western Final for the first time since 2015.

B.C. (10–8) arrives hot after storming back from 14 points down to beat Saskatchewan 33–26 in the semi-final behind Nathan Rourke's 69- and 70-yard touchdown strikes.

Rourke faces Cody Fajardo in a duel of veteran quarterbacks; neither franchise has reached a Grey Cup in over a decade — Edmonton's last trip was 2015, B.C.'s was 2011, and both won it those years.

Kickoff temperature in Edmonton is expected around 5°C.

The Twikup Take

Montreal's home dominance against a crossover team's history-making run, then two quarterbacks with everything to prove in the cold — Division Final Saturday is the CFL at its best.

If Collaros dresses, watch the East. If he doesn't, Dru Brown against that Alouettes defence might be even better television.
